Mountain Lodge:
This lodge accommodates a maximum of nine people and comprises two twin rooms (one with 3 beds) and two double rooms, all en suite. One of the double rooms is a detached "cottage" with its own private wooden sun deck and provides a secluded retreat for those in the party seeking a bit of privacy. It has the most incredible view from the king-size bed made from giant pines from a 40 year old forest. Spacious slate lined en-suite bathrooms offer you the opportunity to relax and unwind after an invigorating day in the fresh Berg mountain air. The main lodge is set in an attractively landscaped garden with many indigenous plants. Guests can enjoy the breath-taking panoramic view of the main Drakensberg escarpment as well as that of Mvuleni (Bamboo) mountain.

Forest Lodge:
This recently renovated "farm house" is full of farm character and situated amongst a beautiful ten hectare pine forest with majestic views of Mvuleni (Bamboo) mountain. This forest lodge accommodates a maximum of 6 people and comprises one double room en suite and 2 double rooms.

The 200 hectares is yours to explore and enjoy and includes a wonderful walk up to Orchid Valley's own waterfall. In summer months you can enjoy a refreshing dip in one of the crystal-clear rock pools on the way.
